We are pleased to provide you with another update on The Estates at St. George. There have been a few changes to the development plan, which further enhances the overall experience and healthy, balanced lifestyle being offered. Please see details outlined below:
The site now boasts a total of 32 acres. This is an additional 13 acres, 11 of which will be used as added green space to the north of the facility, providing a beautiful and lush outlook from the residences, with additional walking trails and quiet spaces for home owners to enjoy
There will be 2 new residential buildings - Pride of Barbados and Lotus, bringing the total number of independent living units to 208 (88 of which are in the first phase)
Pride of Barbados will contain 37 units and Lotus 27 units
The Tamarind Building (Catered Living) and the Skilled Nursing Buildings are being relocated and will now be housed under one roof. The new location is where the Sandbox building was originally to be constructed. In addition to having its own entrance off highway 5, this is an ideal location being closer to the hospital and the medical/urgent care facility
The Pride of Barbados will be located where the Tamarind Building was previously located, and the Lotus will be in the previous location of the Skilled Nursing buildings. Please see the attached site plan which shows the new revisions
Additionally, two contractors have been appointed (Jada Builders Inc and Shelbury Construction Inc) and construction is well underway on the first building which houses a coffee shop, convenience store, pharmacy, doctors’ offices and more.
The Estates, a gated community in Boarded Hall overlooking the beautiful St. George valley, combines essential aspects of an active lifestyle with amenities that encompass the notion of total wellness.
